Welcome — I’m Allison Barnes.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Arizona State University and hold an undergraduate degree in Anthrozoology, which first sparked my passion for the human–animal bond and equine-assisted therapeutic work. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker practicing under supervision as I work toward independent clinical licensure.

I take a holistic, trauma-informed approach to therapy, viewing each person as a whole and honoring the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I am especially passionate about attachment work, inner child healing, and helping clients understand how past experiences continue to shape present patterns. My goal is not to “fix” you, but to support you in reconnecting with your own resilience and internal wisdom.

I frequently work with individuals navigating PTSD, anxiety, depression, relational stress, and major life transitions. I have a deep appreciation for military members and their families and value understanding the unique stressors that service can bring.

I believe healing happens when you feel safe, respected, and empowered to move at your own pace. I strive to create a steady, compassionate environment where hard conversations are welcome and growth feels possible.

I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions and would be honored to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
